Enough

"If someone loves a flower of which just one example exists among all the millions and millions of stars, that's enough to make him happy when he looks at the stars."

--Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, The Little Prince, 1943, translated from French by Richard Howard

Hide and Seek

Come out, come out, wherever you are,
so we can end this game,
this hide and seek from long ago
when you first called my name.
I can't see you, but I hear you
counting numbers one by one.
And when you find me this time
I promise not to run.

Happiness

"The art of living does not consist in preserving and clinging to a particular mode of happiness, but in allowing happiness to change its form without being disappointed by the change; happiness, like a child, must be allowed to grow up."

--Charles L. Morgan
