Arrival

“If we really think that home is elsewhere and that this life is a 'wandering to find home,' why should we not look forward to the arrival?”

  2. It is true! We say we love Jesus, love the saints, long for heaven but . . . do we really?! It makes me think that maybe we REALLY don't believe. St. Paul said, in so many words, "I can't wait to leave this life!" ALL of the saints looked forward to the day of their deaths. Jesus was asked about being saved and His response was 'Try your hardest . . . Narrow is the gate and hard the way that leads to life and few there are that find it." Later, Jesus describes people asking to enter after 'the door is closed' and His response "I never knew you!" These people knocking sure claimed to know Him! This is scary! Truly knowing Jesus - walking with Him - living out your faith - making it real, Jesus tells us, is not easy. However, He is here, always loving, always ready to help. If we truly tapped into the Life found in Christ, experienced the pure joy of knowing Him and experiencing His love - we would have no doubts. After all, everything wonderful in the world - in life - from a babies smile to the morning sun, is an expression of His own beauty, goodness and love! God bless you sister!
