Letter-writing

In an age like ours, which is not given to letter-writing, we forget what an important part it used to play in people's lives.

  1. Great quote! Letter writing has been so lost in our age of e-mail and text messaging. Sad but true. I'm a huge fan of letter writing. Yesterday, a co-worked directed me to The Things Unsaid Project (www.thingsunsaid.wordpress.com) and I was fascinated. So glad to see letter writing play a role in that project and that it's creators insist on a handwritten note sent by mail and not a text or e-mail. Letter writing needs to continue playing a role in our lives--it's much more sincere and genuine.

  2. Wish letters were still around-so sad that they're gone! I'll have to treasure every single one of them.

  3. Your comments are most appreciated, ladies. Yes, there is nothing like a letter: it is a precious gift from one person's very hand to yours, one to be treasured for a lifetime. Thank you both, and may God bless you.
