Kindred Spirit, I am happy to read that you are a teacher. Teachers have a lot of influence on their students. Just by seeing and observing on this blog, I can tell that you have much to offer your students.

I teach Geography to seventh and eighth grade girls in a 19th century building on the Oregon Trail: the eighth graders have desks just like the ones in this picture--really! I feel as though I've gone back in time, and it's quite a nice experience. When I'm not teaching I'm a student at Washburn University, so this quote has a special meaning for me.
