Love

"The soul is made of love and must ever strive
to return to love. Therefore, it can never find
rest nor happiness in other things. It must lose
itself in love. By its very nature it must seek
God, who is love."
--Saint Mechthild of Magdenburg.

  1. Judging from your blog, (as otherwise I know nothing at all of you) which I have seen for the first time just now, you are a very beautiful person! Blest the roses you take the time to smell, blest the Rose for which you are responsible, blest the souls along your trail of flowers!

  2. I've always agreed with this...love is really what matters. That picture seems to say love itself-the darkness, blinded by light, and the angels, gathered all around to see.

  3. Welcome, H. Heide, and thank you for your very kind and beautiful words. It's so nice to have you here, and I think that you will find some like-minded souls in this flowery corner of the virtual world. I'm very glad that you've joined our little company and I hope that you will travel with us for a long time to come. And thank you, too, dear Oddyoddyo13, for your lovely comment; I'm so glad that you liked this post. May God bless you and Our Lady protect you.
