  1. Thank you, dear Kindred Spirit for this quote. Simply stated -- this means the world to me. Kindness is the language that God gives all of mankind. Everyone can "hear" it. Everyone can "see" it. Your little blog also shines with it.

  2. That Mark Twain, I think despite himself, he was a very Christian man. He was very right with this. Kindness is the best softener of hearts too.

  4. Thank you very much for your lovely comments, dear Hannah. You are truly one of the kindest people I know, and I am grateful for your presence here. Thank you, too, Robert, for your very apt comments about Mark Twain. His book about Saint Joan of Arc was said to have been his favorite; we should remember to pray for his soul, for there is always hope for his salvation. Thank you very much for your reminder, cclaridad. Your words are always so clear and true. May Almighty God bless you all. I am very blessed to have you all with me here on "the trail." P.S. I hope that you are feeling better today, Robert.

  5. I am feeling less pain, I'm sure due to everyone's prayers. Hopefully I'll have surgery early next week and the healing can really begin.

    God bless you all.
