Show me your heart

Show me your hands. Do they have scars from giving? Show me your feet. Are they wounded in service? Show me your heart. Have you left a place for divine love?

  1. Archbishop Fulton Sheen was such a remarkable man. I remember watching his TV shows when I was a small child. I come from a family of mixed religious affiliations. My father, who was Lutheran, used to gather us around the TV to watch and listen to Archbishop Sheen. The Archbishop had a way of uniting people of varying backgrounds to bring about harmony, unity and peace.

  2. These words are a clear reference to the person of Jesus. Jesus and his love until to death. In this sense, for us, just the love to God can add value to our actions and sacrifices

  3. The picture that goes with this statement is wonderful. I used to watch Bishop Sheen when I was little - our whole family gathered around the TV. We were so proud to see a Catholic bishop on TV teaching about God's love. Would that we had him back today.

  5. Archbishop Sheen was a remarkable Catholic cleric, as several of you have noted. His cause for canonization was opened some years back; I wonder where it stands just now. He was responsible for countless conversions to the Faith: God alone knows how many there were. What a great blessing! Thank you all for your beautiful comments; it is such a joy to read them and, most of all, to know that you are there walking the journey through this life with me. May Almighty God bless you and Our Lady protect you.
