    Yes. When I look back on my life, I see that this has frequently been the case. Blessings come to us in many ways and offer us surprises. The best way to endure the bitter trials of life is to trust God. He knows the outcome of everything. We do not. Trust will bring about an unexpected blessing at the end of the trial.     This is a hard saying. Most of my trials, my hardest trials, arise from my own failures and those of others who are closest to me.

    I often feel like a Judas, living with a Judas, but maybe the resulting crucifixions can result in some good.

    We can hope.
