Happiness comes from a child-like nature not an intellectual one. You can intellectualize a lot of things, but happiness is not one of them. If you think my statement is wrong and the quoted one above is correct, I hope someone will express a view on it.
Thank you both very much for your fine comments. Hannah, Saint Thomas Aquinas states that God, the Angels, and human beings possess an intellectual nature; he also says that God is simple.
