Good Shepherd Sunday

For he hears the lamb's innocent call.
And he hears the ewe's tender reply.
He is watchful while they are in peace.
For they know when their Shepherd is nigh.

  1. Beautiful poem and a beautiful work of art. I am struck by Jesus walking on thorns so the lost sheep won't have to.

  3. Love the poem - okay to use for TruthHimself blog on Sunday? In past years I have used this mosaic image of the Sheperd - continues to be one of my favorites - but have another chosen for Sunday! You have an eye and heart for the best! Appreciate your blog so very much. - Janette
