    Thank you so much for your nice comment, Noelle! The painting is by the French artist William Adolphe Bouguereau and is entitled 'Calinerie.' I love the colors and the joy on the young girl's face and in her eyes.

    Thank you for your kind greeting from the Pacific NW coast, a place which is one of my favorite spots in the world. My parents are in Seattle just now, and I was fortunate to be there and on the Oregon coast a few Summers ago. Such lovely memories! I wish you all the joy of the fresh sea air and the splashing sound of the salty waves.
