One dream

If one dream should fall and break into a thousand pieces, never be afraid to pick one of those pieces up and begin again.

  1. That's a beautiful thought. It reminds me of Bp Sheen's image of God's symphony, spoiled by the bad note of sin, but through Jesus, God grasps that fleeing bad note, and uses it to begin a brand new symphony!

It's all about hope, trusting in God. Only when we give up hope can the dream truly end.

  2. What a beautiful Bishop Sheen story, and one that I had never heard before! Thank you very much for telling it to me, Robert. We must indeed see the symphony through to the end where, God willing, all will be very well. Trusting in God, especially when darkness seems to be closing in on all sides, is the way to find our dreams of Heaven one day coming true.

May God bless you and your dear ones.
